What does the donation process look like?

Du registrierst dich als Unterstützer einer Läuferin/eines Läufers oder einfach als Unterstützer der Laufchallenge und gibst einen Betrag pro Kilometer sowie einen Maximalbetrag an, den du bereit bist zu spenden. Am Ende der Laufchallenge kannst du bei der unterstützen Person nachfragen, wie viele Kilometer diese gelaufen ist. Daraus kannst du deinen Spendenbetrag berechnen. Diesen kannst du entweder an unser Konto (s. Impressum) überweisen mit dem Betreff "Challenge 9460" oder direkt das Spendentool auf unserer Website benutzen s.

What will my donation be used for?

With your donation, you support our school and education projects in Tanzania. If you want to find out more about these, navigate to the "Projects" tab for a deeper insight.
What do I do if I want to run but cannot find any supporters?

No problem, every runner is cordially invited to run the 9,460 km together. It's about movement, exchange, and team spirit. We run together to share ideas, commitment, and energy. Share your running performance and tell your friends and family about it. You are already making a great contribution by doing so.
I would like to support the Running Challenge, but I don't have a specific runner I can support.

We are happy that you want to support our campaign! Via the
Fundoo Startseite you can register as a general project donor. There you can select a lump-sum donation or an amount for the total kilometers.

How do I enter my kilometers?

After your registration, you can enter your run kilometers directly here on Fundoo. They will automatically be added to the overall goal.
How does the donation per kilometer work?

You determine an amount per kilometer (e.g., €0.50/km) and a maximum amount (e.g., €50). If your runner then runs 80 km, for example, you would donate €40 (at €0.50/km), but no more than your maximum amount.
Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, Hilfe für die Massai e.V. is a non-profit organization. You will receive a donation receipt for the tax office.
Do I need an app to participate?

No, registration and the entry of kilometers work directly via your Fundoo page in the browser.
